Training and Employment

From our engagement in early 2022, our project has focused on utilizing resources locally available for jobs and employment opportunities.

The Project will create an estimated up to 4,000 direct construction jobs and more than 250 direct operations jobs.

We have engaged with Trade Unions to identify any gaps and aim to use resources that are available in the region.

We have also engaged with local colleges and training institutes to establish training and re-training local resources.

We have encouraged residents and high school students in the region to consider careers in renewable energy.
